Kilombera Weavers - natural hessian bag with green/cream

Hessian/burlap decorative storage bag woven on the loom by Kilombera Weavers in Uganda. Each bag has a green/cream cotton woven outer design, a green turndown cuff and two handles. The bag is ideal for display/storage in a cloakroom, hallway or bedroom, it would also be lovely used at Christmastime.

[Kilombera is the name of a rare weaver bird found in parts of East Africa. For a male weaver bird to find a mate it must spend hours weaving an intricate and attractively designed nest. Kilombera products have been handwoven on traditional hand looms with the same attention to detail.

Registered in 2004, with only two weavers, Kilombera now supports eight weavers, two tailors, and one admin staff. All training is done in house and some of the staff have been with the company since the very beginning.]
